My grandfather was the first bicycle dealer in my city shortly after WWII. This was back when Schwinn was the only line of quality bikes available. He built a very successful business at a time in our country when service was the norm and the customer was king. My father followed in his footsteps and continued in the bicycle business. He brought other brands into the store including early US import brands like Motobecane and Fuji. As the years passed brands like Centurion(now Diamond Back), Giant, Specialized, Trek, and others came along. I began working in the family bicycle business at a very early age and learned customer service from both my father and grandfather. I was taught that the customer is king, Period. I learned at a very early age to appreciate the customers and to treat them as valuable.

When I was in my 20's I opened my first bicycle store. By the time I was in my 30's I had two locations. Using the business model I learned from my family, I have been very successful. Now in my 40's and with a retail store front, Bicycle Outfitters Indy, and a substantial online presence, bicycleoutfittersindy.com, my selling and buying volume have increased dramatically. I use the buying connections with manufacturers and suppliers that have been built through 3 generations and over 20 years of personal experience in the bicycle business. By using the selling power of the internet and the buying power that goes with it, I can offer you the best prices in the world. My service is the same as it was when I learned from my father and grandfather, working in the bike shop as a youngster. The Customer is King and without you, MY Customer, I have no business.
